Samantha Ferris, atriz canadense

Samantha Ferris (Vancouver, 2 de novembro de 1968) é uma atriz canadense que nos anos 90 foi repórter para um canal de TV de Washington, época em que ela adotava o nome de Janie Ferris.

Atualmente ela representa o papel de Nina Jarvis, diretora da agência responsável pela vigilância dos 4400 indivíduos devolvidos após uma suposta abdução, na série The 4400 (exibida no Brasil pelo Universal Channel) e teve um papel recorrente na série Supernatural como Ellen Harvelle, mãe de Jo Harvelle. Recentemente integrou o elenco da série alienígena V.

Em 2006, participou da série The Evidence como a Ten. Alexa Brenner, aparecendo em 7 episódios.Também integrou o elenco do filme O mistério de Grace em 2008 no papel da parteira homossexual Patrícia

Outras participações recentes na Tv incluem as séries Battlestar Galactica, Smallville, Stargate SG-1, The L Word e Alvo Humano.
