Opened on Thursday (17), in Rio de Janeiro, the Museum of Tomorrow aims to explore trends in coming decades as climate change, population growth and advances in technology. The space has 30,000 square meters and in addition to showrooms, features an auditorium, research rooms, shop and restaurant.
"The museum plans to offer not only a trial of ability in science, like other science museums that exist in the world, but not least, be a reflection of a world we want to build for tomorrow," said Hugo Barreto, director General of Roberto Marinho Foundation, one of the museum's partner institutions. "There is no museum in the world that looks for tomorrow that way. In general, museums look at the past," he said.
